The inspiration behind “Calligraphy Hong” comes from the idiom “驚鴻一瞥,” a fleeting glimpse of beauty, and from the character “鴻” in my name. By changing “瞥” to “撇,” I give it the meaning of writing — hoping that while people scroll through social media, the beauty of calligraphic art may swiftly pass before their eyes and leave behind a graceful impression.
